Такую ошибку мог вызвать ЕРМ код, порча данных, XXL мод. С вог-анимациями люди годами играли.

Berserker, ну, после отключения данного мода, проблема у чела исчезла. Лично я так же как и ты считаю, что мод вог-анимации не может вызывать такие глюки, но это уже не мне судить, Димон к примеру не согласен с нами .

Более чем сомневаюсь, что XXL мод мог вызвать такую проблему. Карта там генерируется стандартными средствами игры и только.
Хук XXL мода стоит в диалоге создания карты, и даже не лезет в код генерации карты, и тем более никак не лезет в код отрисовки уже созданной.

I finally got Windows 10 as 7-8 were no longer available, and surprise ! Game doesn't run.
Heroes complete does run. HD/Heroes ok too. Era alone doesn't start, then HD/Era crashes.
I use Era 2.47F from Bersy's sig, where are the error reports, I can't find.
Also any idea how to deal with?

Seems like Windows 10 is not compatible with old Era virtual file system implementation. I don't see the exact reason from the log. I've rewritten VFS on a much lower system level and added Windows 10 special support starting from Era 2.8.3. It was a long road. Try running in Windows 7 or XP compatibility mode for h3era HD.exe.

I got the usual Delphi message, then failed to load angel.dll
And installation couldn't create mod list, so mod manager is empty

Valery, if you can't run the game on Windows 10, then execute the following instruction:

1. Enabling DirectPlay on Windows 10:

For the game to work correctly on Windows 8, 8.1, 10, you need to enable the DirectPlay programming interface.
To do this, open Control Panel> Uninstall Programs> Turn Windows Features On or Off> and in the new Windows Components window, find the Legacy Components or Legacy Components folder in the list.
Expanding it you will find DirectPlay. Check the DirectPlay checkbox and click OK to activate and begin installing the legacy library components.
After finishing the installation, Reboot your PC.

2. Disable Windows Defender:
Also, during installation, turn off Windows Defender, and after installation, add the folder with the installed game to the exceptions in the settings.

3. Disable UAC and run the installer and the game itself as administrator.

That's very difficult for me, as I have Win 10 only since yesterday and all I was so comfortable in win 7 is now gone. I can't find the control panel, I did a search and all links say I should see when I click on start "configuration panel" in the list. But there isn't.
