Didn't work, pressed F8, screen only updated. Doesn't matter for now, I still need ~2 more weeks to convert all mods. Is long and I am no more in holidays.

I go with regular modinfo.ini. I hope this pattern won't change, I don't think I can do it twice.

Works for me:
Results is not perfect for "Advanced Infos" because, caption from mod_info.ini is not changed (of course if caption for a mod set - then there shouldn't be changes... but why you put caption in it with same as folder name?)
"Various Pandora boxes" is not processed because directory named "[GRAPHICS] Various Pandora boxes" and not "GRAPHICS_Various Pandora boxes"

Second, why you still use mod_info.ini? Is "Mod edit" dialog too complicated or you simple don't want to use it? Did you know, that MM loads info from mod_info.ini only for compatibility with existing mods and you shouldn't use it as primary info file?

Besides, another update ready:
1) Info about "mod.json" available (you can find info in "doc\mod.json structure.rtf" file or by clicking button
"?" in mod edit dialog).
2) Modified mod_info.ini loading (old -> can load English part to any language; new -> only corresponding)
3) More bugfixes (for example you cannot delete mod with screenshots Sm)

Sydr, thanks, I finally got what you mean. All this is nice but I already started work with modinfo.ini before you suggest json. If someone proposes to correct the 30 mods I already packed and add to them json config, then I continue with json. If no, I won't do again, sorry.

As I said, mods will be named (example) [GRAPHICS] morn battlefields.
If you add json code, it will show [graphics][GRAPHICS] mod name, which is not good.

I suggest maybe a different idea for json config: create groups into mod manager:

---GRAPHICS
[GRAPHICS] mod1
[GRAPHICS] mod2
[GRAPHICS] mod3
[GRAPHICS] mod4

(space)

---CHEATS
[CHEATS] mod1
[CHEATS] mod2
[CHEATS] mod3
[CHEATS] mod4

---TOWNS
etc

then it reads from json where to go when disabled or enabled. Because I want to keep the tag in mods names, for easier download, outside of mod manager.

Or:
---GRAPHICS
   mod1
   mod2
   mod3
   mod4

(space)

---CHEATS
   mod1
   mod2
   mod3
   mod4

---TOWNS

Which is less convenient for download but looks better in modmanager.

Wait a second... Please, no...
This ruins idea that mod id it's directory name.

Besides, "ModDirectoryName" can be packed into "[CATEGORY] AnyName.exe". Did i miss something?

Also, i see that for every mod you do:
1) Edit mod_info.ini
2) Pack it to sfx exe
3) Change icon to specified in .ini

I think 2 and 3 can automated (but i will use 7z sfx as it's free to use).

I don't know what you mean, but 7z is not always available, people will need it? Because winrar is much more common.

As I said, this is big work. Until you choose a pattern, I will stop packing them. Tell me when you took a decision and how. Also json is unreadable for noob players, don't forget. If they need to make changes, they will not be capable.

It's SFX (basically self-extracting archive, see SyDr wrote "exe" there?), it does not matter whatever it is packed with.
And if you like to talk about common formats, zip is far more widespread and common, than your despicable winrar could ever be. but 7zip is still more common, than winrar

i am packing them again. Is it possible to have mod manager groups instead of tags? because if tags I feel like I am doing same work 2 times and for nothing, as mods order remains same.

Suggestion for disabled mods:

Instead of:
[cheats] mod1
[cheats] mod2
[cheats] mod3

to have:
--[CHEATS]
mod1
mod2
mod3

yes I think is a better view. The constant tag before each mod is confusing if many of them.

Interface
Gameplay
Graphics
Scenario
Towns
Cheats
Platforms (wog, wog revised)
Without category
