Hello.

I am scripting some short puzzles and wondering if it is possible to add new fonts into the game.

For example, I need greek fonts, russian fonts, and put them into custom messages. As far, WoG does not recognize them.

Here is one of the puzzles

ZVSE

!#VRz244:S^Apophthegmata^;
!#VRz315:S^Artemis^;
!#OB57/8/0:Hz315;
!#IF:V119/0;

!?OB57/8/0; **Artemis statue
!$OB91;
!!SG998:M?z1; **current sign text

!!VRz2:S^^;
!!VRz3:S^Enter the magic word^;

!!VRz1:H5; **check if text entered, flag 5=1 if yes
!!SG998&5:M^%Z1^; **set new text if text was entered
!!IF&z1=z244:V215/1;
!!IF&z1<>z244:M^Not strong enough at ancient greek, are you?^;
!!IF&215:M^Eureka!^;

!?OB59/9/0;
!!VRz245:S^Dionisos^; **dummy text
!!VRv108:S0;
!!VRv108:R10; **generate a random value between 0 and 10 and adds to v108
!!IF&-119:M^Greetings, I am Horikle, greek translator. I see you are looking for a Plutarch quote. I will place in your papyrus quest a scrap of the word you are searching each time you visit me. If you find the word, Artemis will let you pass.^;
!!IF&119/v108>1:M^Still not found? Ok, let's try again^;

You can make your own font file, but I have no ideas how to use it in desirable places of game text.
The only way - edit the standard Heroes' font and paste your "greek" symbols to the place reserved for symbols of not-english text. But here is a problem - your font will be suitable for english localisation only.

Attic is one of the dialects of the Ancient Greek. It's the only Greek. I think that Modern Greek is not Greek.

I think they would punish me. Greek are very proud of their language. But time made it's job with pronounciation. For example, ancient [emporeo] changed into [emporo], then in [mporo], then in [boro]. The original meaning of word has been saved, but that's an incorrect form, which does not represent the historical pronounciation. There is a lot of examples like this.
Next. Before Greeks tried not to use foreign words (look at the Roman termins). If they had to use them, they always changed the word to make it look as Greek one (for example, Valerius in Greek was Oualerios). Now we can see too much indeclinated words (for example, jeep is ntzip, and it is indeclinated word).

What I mean? That Greek becomes like English: it becomes linguistical trash. I think it would be better if everyone will use kathareusa glossa, because it is much closer to Greek.

well every language over the time got some words from they neighbours or so and it evolved in the actual languages of today.the same with russian,with romanian and any other language.what you are saying with the old greek language it s like going in Italy and speak latin.they will hardly understand you and you will be a paria :D

I think all languages will change into smth like English. Excluding some languages like Chinese, Japan, Basque, some Caucasian languages. This is fatum linguarum.
