Can you please check if something changes in def tool settings on first frame of attack straight please?
In 9/10 of defs the first frame is screwed, and always only that one. I tried both ways, make def with RGB frames, with indexed frames, no way to fix it, tried different settings in shadow colors etc. Without shadow it goes well. Removing the first frame screws the second and so on.
Thanks

Here
(all frames not indexed + def + hdl, bad frame in unusual death)
We found a way to avoid that by placing the bad frame in unusual death and removing it from attack. But the bad frame HAS to be in, otherwise the next frame in the list will be wrong.

So far, with old tool (did not tested the newest yet, just downloaded), the default shadow reduce colors. To get the exact colors when applying shadow, I must change fade to 0.255.255 and apply, then deep shadow to 0.128.255 and apply.
Also in 9/10 of defs I make, the first attack frame from attack down or straight is pixel screwed. We found a way to get past, by removing this frame and placing it in unusual death. If not placed in unusual death, the second frame from att down will get screwed and so on.
This may be due also because I extract models from various games and with various palettes. Some fit in Heroes palette, others not, maybe.

If we have a list of frames, top frame of this list often screwed.
For example, if we have frames A1.bmp, B1,bmp, C1.bmp, D1.bmp, A1.bmp is screwed. If we are remove A1.bmp from list, B1.bmp will be screwed. If we are add A0.bmp to the list, this frame will be screwed.
For attack we often use frames from top of list of all frames - I think, it is reason of screwing attack frames.

No, same
First frame in the list has a hard time to show properly.
