Replacing 11 years old wog graphics - Valery - 04.03.2014 02:30

A little mod proposing fresh graphics for the ugliest models. My models are from Millidor, then I add modifications and animations.

So far a few are done(still, some of those need reworking):

Actually this object has only 18 frames (the def 71) but we can create endless combinations. The gif is not the def, impossible to reproduce.

Ha, I see a HoTa fortress, nice. I will also use the blue tower for replacing the wizard one, but I will add some animation on top.

imo, lightning do not drop a shadow in real

когда молния сверкает, её свет падает на здание, освещая некоторые её части иным светом....

Молния слишком тёмная чтобы быть естественной. Она даже не сверкает. Так что с освещением всё нормально.
А картинка не отображается, 404.

I didn't think to have effects of the lightning on building because the lightning is set behind the building in PS. Hmm...For the big light it is very visible, for the 2 small ones, not very. But maybe would be a good idea to set lightnings in front of it then add a small blue area on?

The 3rd link has the tavern with external shadow, lightnings will not generate shadow.

Ok, let's see about adventure cave. I have nothing which fits 100% so the only solution is to surgically combine parts and see how goes.

Starting material:

The animation will probably consist in eyes inside the cave, + some skulls at entrance. But what bothers me is the upper part, original is rather green, after playing with settings, becomes closer to bottom but textures now vary.

It seems like death chamber, not adventure cave, IMO. Original object fits better (at least on your screen).

The original adventure cave has a mountain as background. So every time it goes on snow, lava or desert it looks alien.

Perhaps the problem is with word Cave and real cave functionality (labirinths, troglodytes). Seems that it should be something with rock Bad

Indeed, but after being worked, they could fit more than milidor ones, which even after work, don't fit at all.
I can open cossacks, but the GPviewer reads only half of building, then the next half. Not practical.

Kingdoms under Fire also looks good.
