If I was UBI (I am not so let's just speculate)

1) Contact Bersy or Slava
2) Contact Baratorch
3) Contact Grayface
4) Contact HoTA


Take all they did, platform, editor, HD, custom dialogs, make new language, improve multiplayer to stable, hire hoTA to make 5 more towns, release mod manager, host mods, sell it, make profits. Then PAY them, because if the game is still played is mostly to such people generous work.

But no, they have to redesign RoE. Without speed mod, without swap armies mod, without swap artifacts mod, without backpack mod, without dwellings information mod, without renaming towns mod, without buy all creatures mod, without the fix skills over 99 mod, without any of the interface bonus mods people designed over years. And in bonus, 100% of the RoE bugs, as we loved them.

So tell me, is it worth creatures detailed design vs a boring game, without map generator, without sod/ab graphics, slow, with a pre battle music of 8 seconds, with having to click on each slot to move, each artifact to move, each backpack slot to browse, each map dwelling to visit and find if is empty or not?

For me, no, from playability perspective, this is a step back. Good riddance.
