Great idea! But sorry, i think, that heroes must be on horses.
Yeah, but the horses were 10 years old and got sicker and sicker from running around. And then suddenly a bear came and ate all horses. Only the bear survived.
Oops, I forgot the sprites of heros on the battlefield. I am going to do them too. Were was I thinking?!
Cool looking customization! I've been lurking a ton of Heroes 3 forums the last few weeks (mostly WoG-related) and see you're really working at the things you can do.
I'm fairly new the HOMM3 community-developed mods and content. It looks like all the information I could ever need to get fully involved is out there in the open... if I want to spend 100 hours crawling through dungeons of forums, but does anyone know if there is a good/current guide to what's available?
I realize that may be a tall order, since by it's very nature the community dev stuff is a de-centralized resource, but I guess I'm mostly interested in the biggest stuff first and then I'll go from there.
I've had WoG 3.58f, for about 11/2 years (and invested serious play-time in 3 different stints.) But in my recent crawling, I've seen a lot of rumblings of other major mods that are being worked on, but most of the threads are years old with no clear ending...
I could say/ask more, but I'll leave it here for now, can anyone help this newb figure it all out?
Those damnt combat sprites are really an infernal task. Has anyone noticed the all females from all races use the second def and males first one? Both knights and clerics females use cleric def and all males knight for example. I am doomed! A cool looking knight on adventure map, if female, will turn into a white priest in battle...Same for all races.
You are just now noticed? I noticed this five years ago. Maybe worth using scripts before the battle to change the sex, then I think animation will be that you need. Try it
Changing sex in battle or in instructions does not change the def. Must be hardcoded I think and I have no solution to change that.
