In Europe we have very bad press about Putin, every day. I would like to know, what this forum members think about russian elections and Putin, as I consider not having access anymore to proper information in the country I live.

So what you think about?

I do not know what your media say, but Putin really has very great support from the people.

Bes, почему не здесь? Уж если хочешь получить информацию из первых рук, то у "первых рук" спрашивать и надо.

In our media (100%) he is painted as dictator, assassin (journalists, spy, political opponents), changed USA elections, wants cold war and he eats babies.

I don't like Putin but our elections were fair. Putin haven't real opposition because all another candidates are really weak.

Антироссийская пропаганда, направленная против главных лиц России со стороны англосаксонских стран, существует ещё со времён царя Ивана Грозного. Сейчас Путин - идеальный "злодей" для западных СМИ, а Россия - самый вероятный кандидат на звание "мирового агрессора" просто потому что правительствам Америки и Европы это выгодно. Им нужна Россия слабая и экономически отсталая, как это было в 90х после развала СССР.

Anti-Russian propaganda directed against the main persons of Russia by the Anglo-Saxon countries exists since the time of the Tsar Ivan the Terrible. Now Putin is an ideal "villain" for the Western media, and Russia is the most likely candidate for the title of "world aggressor" simply because it is profitable for the governments of America and Europe. They need Russia weak and economically backward, as it was in the 90s after the collapse of the USSR.

Val, information background is before-war background. They need our resources. They don't need our army or any attempt to influence on world politics. Solution: censoring, propaganda, mass media control, "non-commercial" organizations pressure, financial pressure (sanctions), war (Syria, Ukraine), provocations (stupidest gas attack), etc. It would be funny if we didn't see those methods along the whole history of Russian/USSR. You make maps for Heroes 3. Strong opponents must be destroyed, their cities and mines captured. That's all.
