I am writing a mod for Civilization 5, called Russian wonders. The mod will be about national wonders specific to Russia. By "wonder" I mean any specific cultural, natural or scientific achievements, as Bolshoi, Lenin's mausoleum, Saint Basil's cathedral, lake bailkal and such things. Can any of you please give me more famous locations/places/achievements in Russia I could check and see if I can put them inside?

yeah thanks, those are easy to find. I am also interested by cultural achievements, as moscow music conservatory, Bolshoi ballet theater and more like this. That's because in Civilization games, "wonders" can give culture, science, great people points as well as resources (luxuries, strategic resources as iron, coal etc). Also such "wonders" must be scattered through all eras: ancient, medieval, renaissance, industrial, atomic and modern, so should be from all times.

If you want to know something about Russia history, russians are last people to ask :P

Well, I suppose that Russian wonders is infrastructural projects:
- Transsib (Trans-Siberian Railway);
- Atomic project
- "Sputnik" project (soviet space program)
and so on.

Okay, mod is almost ready, now in test. Selected 16 wonders, did the splash, icons and filtered the pics.

Oh, that was years ago. Still thinking that Civ 3 was the best. Always game III is the best.

I played civ 4 for a while, yes, like all civs games. That mod particularly, no, but frankly I don't remember all the details, getting old.

And btw, being faithful to France too, 20 French wonders too

Civilization 5 it is a very intersting game?

Well, it depends on how much you enjoyed the others civ games. Myself I play it with some 50 mods enabled, most of mods which change the game core mechanics, which means I play with unlimited stack/tile. Then I use a lot of mods which improve interface, I hate open 5 menus to find something.

With 5000+ mods available, yes, is a great game.
